Coming to Eden Park? We can’t wait to have you. Below is an overview of what you need to know to prepare for your visit.
Conditions of Entry
In order to ensure that all patrons attending events held at Eden Park are free to enjoy the entertainment in a safe and comfortable manner, and to protect the rights of our patrons, entry to Eden Park is subject to the following conditions of entry and regulations.
Food & beverage
Eden Park offers a range of traditional food & beverage options, plus healthy alternatives sold in retail outlets along the concourse (Level 3) and at other seating levels of the stadium.
Eden Park is a cashless venue. Faster, safer and easier, cashless transactions help us to minimise queues so you can spend more time enjoying the event, and less time waiting.
Small amounts of non-commercially produced food intended for the patron’s personal consumption are allowed but please take your rubbish with you or place in the bins provided. Please see the conditions of entry for more information.

Parking and transportation
If you are coming to an event at Eden Park, please plan ahead.
Getting to and from events at Eden Park
Eden Park is centrally located and adjacent to key transport hubs including train stations and major bus routes. Tickets to most of our events include public transport fares, making getting to and from events easy. To plan your journey and find out more about whether your event ticket includes a bus or train fare, visit Auckland Transport’s event information before your visit.
Parking
There is no public parking at Eden Park on an event day. Depending on the event, a Traffic Management Plan may be in place to protect the safety of patrons attending the event and facilitate access for residents.
Members and contractors: please note that you must have a parking permit for the relevant event and this must be clearly displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle. Please follow the access instructions provided and note that onsite carpark areas may be closed prior to the end of the event, up to one hour post the event finishing, to allow for all pedestrian traffic to clear from the venue.
Mobility parking: For large events when a Traffic Management plan is in place, mobility parking is located in Cricket Ave and is on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not take bookings for mobility parking. For smaller events where no Traffic Management Plan is in place, mobility parking spaces can be found in the P5 carpark off Reimers Ave.
Event Traffic Management Plans
A Traffic Management Plan may be implemented for an event and the closure of surrounding streets may differ depending on the expected crowd size.
When a Traffic Management Plan is in place, to protect the safety of pedestrians, parking restrictions in the local area will apply, and some of the streets around Eden Park will be closed to all vehicles except emergency vehicles and those which display a valid access pass.
Information for residents can be found here. Please note that some areas, including those within the resident parking zone, may be reserved for public transport and other traffic management uses. Residents who have a Parking Permit are not able to park in these areas which will be clearly signposted on the event day. All information about the Traffic Management Plan in place for an event will be provided in the residents’ newsletter delivered a few days before each event and on the specific Event Page.
If you have any questions regarding event day traffic management or parking, please phone Auckland Transport on 09 355 3553.
