Concerts

Traditionally, we are known as the home of cricket and rugby. However, more recently, Eden Park has broken new ground to declare itself a world-class concert venue. With the introduction of an updated Resource Consent in 2021, Eden Park has been granted approval to host 6 concerts a year.

On April 24, 2021, Eden Park made history with its first concert. Kiwi band SIX60 headlined the acts, playing to a sold-out crowd of 50,000. This concert, the first of many stadium shows, has set the bar even higher in New Zealand for the delivery of international touring concerts.

The Eden Park team has spent countless hours consulting Australasia’s very best experts in concert production and venue operations throughout the concert consent process. Our aim is to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors, whether you are a fan, a promoter, an artist or a business partner, has a world class experience here at the Park.
