The show will feature Metallica performing at the end of each stadium and will include the infamous Snake Pit extending from the front of the stage.

GETTING HERE:Please save this transport map to your phone to help you get here and get home after the show.
Arrive early: To avoid queues and ensure you don’t miss any of the action, we recommend arriving well in advance of the event start time.
Cashless payments: Eden Park is a cashless venue, so please be prepared to pay by card only.

All-ages event: All patrons, including infants, must have their own ticket for entry.
Public transport: Bus and train travel is free with your concert ticket from 2.30pm. Special event buses are running from the CBD and North Shore (Albany Bus Station) from 4pm. Plan your journey
Parking: There is no public parking at Eden Park and parking restrictions apply around the surrounding streets. Cars parked in restricted zones will be ticketed/towed. Find out more about parking restrictions in the area. Free public parking is available in the surrounding suburbs (approximately a 15-20 minute walk away), but make sure you check for restrictions before you park.
Rideshare and taxis: Drivers cannot drop you at or pick you up from the venue as the roads will be closed. There are two drop-off/pick-up locations (before and after the show) a short walk away as shown on the transport map. If your ticket is for Entry E or D, we recommend getting dropped off on Dominion Road between Bellwood Avenue and Walters Road. If your ticket is for Entry A, B, G, F, Q or J, the best drop off point is on Morningside Drive.
Scooters and e-bikes: You can pick up an e-scooter or e-bike using your smartphone to get you to the show, no need for parking, just download the app (and remember to wear your helmet!).
Walkingand cycling: Eden Park is an easy 25-minute walk from Auckland’s CBD and can be accessed via many cycling routes. You can plan your route using the AT Journey Planner (just tick the walking/cycling option). Bike parking is available at Entry D.
Entry: Proceed to the gate listed on your ticket. If you need assistance, please ask our friendly spectator services staff in the yellow and blue uniforms.
No pass outs: If you leave the stadium during the concert, you will not be allowed back in.

No smoking or vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside Eden Park. Offenders will be evicted immediately without warning.
Lighting & special effects: This event may contain flashing and strobing lights, smoke, pyrotechnics, and other special effects.
Respect our neighbours: Please respect our neighbours as you leave the venue by keeping noise to a minimum and using the bathroom facilities before you leave.
Non-metal and non-glass drink containers up to 1 litre are permitted in all seated areas. These will need to be empty when you arrive and can be refilled from the free drinking stations located around the venue. No hard or metal personal drink containers will be permitted in Snake Pit or GA1 areas, except Yeti souvenir bottles which are part of the VIP package.
We strongly encourage that you don’t bring a bag, however bags 21cm x 30cm (A4 size) or smaller will be permitted.
Flags, signs, and banners are allowed into the stadium provided they do not have poles and do not contain any political content.
Cameras with detachable lenses, tripods, tablets or professional audio recording devices are not permitted entry into the venue.
Offensive attire, studded jewellery, long wallet chains and spurs will not be permitted to be worn inside the stadium.
Folding chairs will not be permitted inside the stadium.
Umbrellas are not permitted into the stadium for safety reasons. Rain ponchos and jackets are recommended.
Official merchandise will be available from 12pm at various merchandise stands outside the venue on concert day, as well as inside once gates open. Check out our merchandise map.
If you purchase merchandise outside the venues prior to entry, you will be allowed to bring it in with you after security checks.
All merchandise stands operate with cashless transactions only.
General Admission standing tickets
General Admission standing ticket-holders must enter through the gate listed on their ticket: General Admission 1 (GA1): Gate Q (entry off Sandringham Road) or General Admission 2 (GA2): either Gate D2 or E2 (entry off Cricket Ave). The Eden Park Gate map will help you find the correct entry.
No overnight camping or queuing before 9am.
Ticket-holders will receive a wristband on entry for the General Admission Standing areas.
There are plenty of bars, food, toilets, and merchandise outlets for GA ticketholders.
Water is available at stations around the perimeter of the field, at the barriers or from our roving Red Frog welfare teams.
Please note that hard personal water bottles will not be permitted in the Snake Pit or GA1 standing areas, except for Yeti VIP souvenir bottles.
Getting home
You can travel on public transport and special event buses free with your ticket. At the end of the concert, please be patient and follow the directions of our team.
Food outlets within the stadium and a number of food trucks on Eden Park’s outer oval will remain open after the event has finished. Feel free to grab something to eat or drink before starting your journey. Alternatively, head to Kingsland or Dominion Road and enjoy our local hospitality businesses.
Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum and discard any rubbish in the bins provided.
Eden Park to CBD: If you’re heading to the CBD, you can either catch the train from Kingsland Station or head up Sandringham Road or Swamp Walk to New North Road (opposite the VTNZ) to catch a special-event bus into the city.
Eden Park – West: If you’re heading West, you will need to walk to Morningside Station (there are no West-bound services leaving from Kingsland Station). Please note, if you are travelling to Swanson, you may need to transfer to a rail-replacement bus at Henderson.
Eden Park to North Shore: If you’re heading to the North Shore, special event buses depart from the Eden Park bus hub (southwest corner of the stadium) to Albany Bus Station.
Rideshare: You can pick up an Uber or taxi from the pickup points at Morningside Drive or Dominion Road shown on the transport map. Drivers cannot pick you up from the venue as the roads remain closed after the show.
