Eden Park recognised at prestigious international awards

Eden Park has been recognised on the global stage winning two prestigious awards at TheStadiumBusiness Awards 2025, which recognise leadership, innovation, and achievement in the global stadium and venue industry.  

The stadium was awarded Event of the Year for the World’s Largest Haka, a powerful celebration of culture and connection that brought thousands together and captivated audiences worldwide. Eden Park also received the Sustainability & Community award, recognising its long-standing commitment to environmental responsibility and creating positive community outcomes.

A special acknowledgement also to Dame Hinewehi Mohi DNZM (Ngāti Kahungunu/Ngāi Tūhoe), cultural ambassador for HAKA and co-founder of the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, whose vision brought the World’s Largest Haka to life alongside Deborah Pead and her team. We were honoured to provide the stage for such a powerful moment.” 

These achievements follow Eden Park’s recognition as Venue of the Year in 2024 and reinforce its position as one of the world’s most innovative and purposeful multi-purpose, hybrid stadiums – a community asset for Auckland and a strategic asset for New Zealand.
