Relive your greatest sporting moments, as you go behind-the-scenes on New Zealand’s most famous stadium tour.

Coming from humble beginnings known as ‘Ryan’s Folly, the local cricket club, to hosting the British Empire Games in 1950, a visit by the Prince and Princess of Wales in 1983 and the Dalai Lama in 2002, and to New Zealand’s glorious World Cup victory in the 2011 Rugby World Cup Final, see it all on the Eden Park Stadium Tour.

Tours are held Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) at 2pm and begin at Entry G, Reimers Avenue. They take approximately 60 minutes and parking is available in Car Park 5 – Gate G off Reimers Ave, Sandringham, Auckland. 

The final tour for the year will be on Monday 22nd December 2014 and please note that in December there are no tours on the following dates: 

  • Friday 12th December
  • Thursday 18 December
  • Friday 19 December

Please note tours will not recommence in 2015 until Tuesday 7th April 2015.

Tours are suitable for people of all ages however a reasonable level of mobility is required to climb some stairs.

There are no tours on match days, match day minus one (excluding domestic cricket matches) and weekends, please see the match day schedule.

For groups of 15 or less we do not require you to make a booking for the public tour, please just turn up at Entry G Reception by 1.55pm on the day you wish to take the tour.
