As New Zealand’s national stadium, Eden Park is committed to providing high-quality accessible services for all our guests.
We aim to create an inclusive and accessible experience for all our visitors, ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, feels welcomed, supported, and able to enjoy all that our iconic venue has to offer.

Accessibility services

Mobility parking
For major events, Eden Park provides 100 mobility parking spaces for guests with valid mobility permits.

Parking is allocated via a ballot system prior to each event.
For smaller events without traffic management in place, mobility parking is available in P5 via Reimers Avenue.

Wheelchair access
Wheelchair accessible lifts are available at Entries A, B, C, E, F & G. The most accessible entry points are Entries C2, D, E and G.

Entry G includes a ramp for wheelchair users and guests using mobility aids, with an automatic door at the top and elevators just beyond the entrance.

Accessible toilets
Accessible toilets are located throughout the stadium to ensure all guests can enjoy a comfortable and convenient event experience.

Accessible & companion seating
Eden Park has 152 wheelchair spaces located throughout the venue.

Accessible and companion seating is available in both the University of Auckland North Stand and Samsung South Stand, with convenient access to food and beverage outlets, lifts and accessible toilets.

Permobil
Comfort Zones
The Permobil Comfort Zones in the
Samsung South Stand are located in
Sections 319 and 323.
Read more
They include infrared heaters, additional personal space, and TV replay screens to enhance comfort during events.
Additional Comfort Zones are also available in the University of Auckland North Stand.
Comfort Zone seating is available for selected events through official ticketing channels.

Access Community
Health Sensory Room
The Access Community Health Sensory Room is located on Level 3 of the Samsung South
Stand.

It is a dedicated quiet space designed to support guests who may feel overwhelmed by crowds, noise, or the sensory stimulation of live events.
The room includes a range of calming sensory features and support tools, including:
- Weighted blankets
- Noise-cancelling headphones
- Calming lighting and visual effects
- Sensory fidget toys and interactive calming tools
- Comfortable seating areas
No special ticket or booking is required. Guests can speak to event staff for assistance accessing the room.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard
If you or someone you are with has a hidden disability, you can wear a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard, pin or bracelet.

This will discreetly let our team know you may need additional support or assistance during your visit.
Eden Park is proud to be the first stadium in New Zealand to join the global Sunflower network.
The Sunflower lanyard helps our staff recognise that a guest may:
- Need extra time or assistance
- Prefer to remain with friends or family
- Require support locating stadium facilities, including the
sensory room
Wearing a Sunflower lanyard, pin or bracelet is completely voluntary.
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyards are available from all entries on event days and from Eden Park Reception via Entry G on non-event days.

Kennards Hire Sound Sensitivity Stations
The Kennards Hire Sound Sensitivity Stations provide free earplugs to guests on a self serve basis.

As the first-of-its-kind at a major New Zealand venue, the stations help guests with sound sensitivity enjoy live sport and entertainment in a more comfortable and supportive environment.
Three stations are currently located across the stadium:
- University of Auckland North Stand, Level 4 concourse, next to the Staydium Glamping domes, opposite Section 412.
- Samsung South Stand, Level 3 concourse, next to the Access Community Health Sensory Room opposite Section 320.
- Kia East Stand, Level 3 concourse, near Entry D opposite Section 308.

Aira visual and auditory support
Eden Park is proud to be the first stadium in New Zealand to partner with Aira, a visual interpreting app that supports guests who are blind or have low vision.

Using your smartphone, Aira connects you with a trained visual interpreter who can assist with:
- General on-site orientation
- Navigating around the stadium
- Finding your seat
- Reading signs, menus and screens
- Locating toilets, lifts and food and beverage outlets
Aira is available throughout Eden Park on both event and non-event days and can be accessed free of charge while onsite.
Simply download the Aira app and connect when you arrive.

Large screens
Eden Park has four large video screens located throughout the venue.

During sporting events, the screens display live action, replays, scores and important event information.
During concerts, the screens provide close-up views of the performance to support visibility from all seating areas.

Service animals
Service animals are welcome at Eden Park.

Seating arrangements can be made for guests attending events with a service animal.
As arrangements may vary depending on the event, we recommend contacting Eden Park in advance for assistance.
While there is no dedicated indoor toileting area for service animals, exceptions to the no pass-outs policy can be made to allow service animals outside during events when required.
