Eden Park launches new Legends Tour experience

Walk with a legend. Hear the stories behind the history.

Eden Park is launching a brand-new premium stadium experience, giving sports fans the opportunity to discover New Zealand’s national stadium through the eyes of the legends who have helped create its history.

The Eden Park Legends Tour will bring guests closer to the moments and people that have shaped Eden Park, combining exclusive stadium access with personal stories that won’t be found in the record books.

Each tour will be hosted by a different Eden Park legend, from sporting greats past and present to commentators and other iconic figures with a special connection to the stadium.

The inaugural Legends Tour will take place on Saturday 3 October at 3:30pm, hosted by All Blacks great Keven Mealamu.

Guests will join the two-time Rugby World Cup winner for an intimate journey through Eden Park as he shares his personal memories, untold stories and experiences from a remarkable career.

Eden Park Chief Executive Nick Sautner said the Legends Tour would offer a perspective on the stadium that a traditional tour simply could not.

Eden Park has been the stage for more than a century of unforgettable moments, but behind every one of those moments are stories that only the people who were there can tell.

“The Legends Tour is about bringing those stories to life and giving guests the opportunity to experience Eden Park alongside the people who have helped shape its history.

“We’re delighted to have Keven host our inaugural tour. His connection with Eden Park and the memories he has created here make him the perfect person to launch this special new experience.”

Keven Mealamu is the first in a line-up of Eden Park Legends, with more hosts and tour dates to be announced.

The Eden Park Legends Tour with Keven Mealamu takes place on Saturday 3 October.
