Global pop superstar Robbie Williams is bringing his BRITPOP World Tour to Eden Park this November, with New Zealand’s national stadium set to welcome the ultimate showman for one unforgettable night on Tuesday 24 November.
As a globally recognised venue capable of welcoming one of the country’s biggest live concert audiences, Eden Park provides the perfect stage for an artist of Robbie Williams’ calibre. Known for his incredible stage presence, powerhouse performances and unparalleled catalogue of hits, Robbie is one of the finest male pop stars of his generation and this concert promises to be a memorable night for Robbie Williams fans who will experience him live at Eden Park.
Robbie’s last tour of Australia and New Zealand saw him perform a run of truly astonishing live shows, delivering a setlist packed with some of his biggest and best-loved hits, including Angels, Feel and Better Man to Love My Life and Let Me Entertain You. His latest album, BRITPOP, released as a surprise in January, is inspired by the 90s Britpop era and features collaborations with Chris Martin, Gaz Coombes, Tony Iommi, Jesse & Joy and Gary Barlow.
Eden Park CEO Nick Sautner said the 24 November concert is another major moment on the stadium’s live entertainment calendar.
“Robbie Williams is one of the great entertainers of his generation and we are thrilled to welcome him to Eden Park this November,” said Sautner.
“His shows are known for their energy, scale and connection with fans, and this will be another memorable night at New Zealand’s national stadium. Bringing major international acts to New Zealand matters for fans, for Auckland and for the wider events economy, and Eden Park is proud to play an important role in making those moments possible.”
Robbie Williams has sold more than 90 million albums worldwide, holds a record 16 UK No. 1 albums and has won 18 BRIT Awards – more than any other artist. His 2023 Netflix documentary series, Robbie Williams, reached No. 1 in 22 different countries, while his Oscar-nominated film Better Man and its accompanying soundtrack added to his extraordinary run of global success.
