Eden Park will host reigning Women’s Super League champions Chelsea FC Women on Saturday 8 August as they face an Auckland FC Women’s Invitational XI as part of the New Zealand International Football Festival.
This is a landmark occasion for the women’s game in Aotearoa and another opportunity for Eden Park to create unforgettable moments for fans, players and the wider community.
Welcoming one of the world’s leading women’s clubs to Auckland reflects the incredible momentum behind women’s football and the importance of inspiring the next generation of athletes.
The New Zealand International Football Festival will also see Tottenham Hotspur FC hold an open training session at Eden Park ahead of their clash with Auckland FC on 26 July.
