Eden Park partners with Red Badge Group

Eden Park, New Zealand’s national stadium, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Red Badge Group, one of New Zealand’s leading security providers of Security Guarding, Alarm Monitoring, Mobile Patrols, and Event Security Services.

The partnership marks the next step in Eden Park’s ongoing commitment to delivering world-class safety and service for every guest. With almost three decades in event security, Red Badge brings extensive experience across some of New Zealand’s most prominent venues, including Sky Stadium in Wellington, Go Media Stadium in Auckland, and soon One NZ Stadium in Christchurch. They will support all aspects of security across the stadium’s events and daily operations.

Eden Park CEO Nick Sautner says the partnership reflects the stadium’s focus on operational excellence and providing exceptional experiences for every visitor.

“Safety and service are at the heart of everything we do at Eden Park. Red Badge’s experience in managing large-scale venues aligns perfectly with our vision of creating a safe, welcoming, and world-class environment for all who visit the Park,” says Mr Sautner. “We are grateful for the professionalism and support shown by P4G over the years, and we wish them every success as they continue to grow their business in the retail and commercial sectors.”

Red Badge is proudly 100 percent New Zealand owned and operated, with a proven reputation for delivering highly trained, professional teams who create world-class experiences. Their approach to security goes beyond protection, focusing on a people-first service, creating an environment where every person who walks through Eden Park’s gates can enjoy their experience safely and confidently, whether that’s a small-scale corporate event or a sold-out stadium match.

Ben Wooding, CEO of Red Badge Group comments “When we internally announced our partnership with Eden Park, the energy across Red Badge was electric. This iconic venue represents everything we love about events: creating safe and unforgettable moments, and we’re proud and grateful to play our part in that. Every day Red Badge protects the safety and security of more than 20,000 customers across every corner of New Zealand, and as we continue to grow, we feel privileged to have Eden Park as a key partner on that journey”.

The transition to Red Badge is already underway, with a strong focus on training and preparation. Red Badge will work closely with Eden Park’s security and operations teams to ensure all personnel are thoroughly briefed and equipped ahead of upcoming events.

The safety of everyone who enters Eden Park is our highest priority. Every aspect of our operations is built around creating a secure, welcoming environment where guests, staff, and performers can enjoy their experience with confidence.

This partnership reinforces Eden Park’s commitment to continuous improvement in safety, security, and guest experience. Together with Red Badge, we will continue to set new standards for event operations and community engagement across New Zealand.
