Eden Park unveiled as Finalist in TheStadiumBusiness Awards 2023

Eden Park has been acknowledged as a finalist in two categories – Event of the Year and Unsung Hero – in the 14th annual TheStadiumBusiness Awards.

This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our entire team and the memorable experiences we create for everyone who visits Eden Park.

In the category of Event of the Year, we have been acknowledged for hosting the Rugby World Cup 2021 (played in 2022), an exceptional event that captivated audiences and left a lasting impact around the globe.

Additionally, having our Corporate Legal Manager, Kate Simkiss, recognized as a finalist for the Unsung Hero award is a true honour. This category celebrates the behind-the-scenes individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference, often without seeking recognition. This acknowledgement highlights Kate’s dedication to ensuring legal compliance and protecting Eden Park have played a pivotal role in our success.

It is a privilege to be acknowledged alongside other international stadiums that are leading our industry in their event delivery and commitment to fan experience, including Sofi Stadium and Hollywood Park, Marvel Stadium, Etihad Stadium and Wimbledon. This recognition reinforces our position as a world-class venue, showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication that exists within our organisation and among our staff.
