Eden Park to host Wahs under the Stars – a community rugby league fan zone

Eden Park is thrilled to announce that this Saturday 16 September, it will be hosting Wahs under the Stars – a special rugby league fan zone for the community to come together to celebrate their passion for their team!

Nick Sautner, Eden Park CEO said “For Warriors and Knights fans who can’t make it to Mt Smart this Saturday to watch their team in action, Wahs Under the Stars promises to be the next best thing – an unforgettable evening that brings together the community with rugby league playing on the big screen, all on Eden Park’s hallowed turf.

“Eden Park is home to some of the most historic moments in sporting history and we’re really excited to be bringing this NRL finals match to life on our massive screen so that fans of all ages can cheer for their favourite team as the Warriors take on the Knights.

“While entry to Eden Park is free, charitable donations can be made to I AM HOPE either when you grab your ticket on Ticketmaster, or on the night.

“We recommend fans bring a blanket or something comfortable to sit on, but to protect the playing field, no chairs are allowed! The hallowed turf is huge so there’s plenty of room to enjoy the game and soak up the atmosphere. Food and beverage trucks will be on-site with a variety of options to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.
