Eden Park hosts NZ’s largest Easter EGGStravaganza hunt ahead of Moana Pasifika taking on the Blues at home
Mar 27, 2024It’s time to get EGG-cited and hop on over to Eden Park on Easter Saturday to take part in New Zealand’s largest-ever Easter EGGStravaganza ahead of the highly anticipated annual Moana Pasifika v Blues Super Rugby clash.
With 5,000 Whittaker’s mini chocolate bars up for grabs, Super Rugby fans coming to watch their favourite team this weekend are encouraged to arrive early to join in the fun ahead of what is expected to be an action-packed game of rugby.
Nick Sautner, Eden Park CEO, said, “In addition to the epic game this weekend, Moana Pasifika and Blues fans will get to be part of a huge easter hunt. Seven giant easter eggs have been hidden around Eden Park, with delectable mini chocolate bars given out to families and fans as rewards when they’re found. The more giant eggs a fan locates, the more Whittaker’s mini chocolate bars they’ll get.
“The EGGStravaganza hunt is open to all ticketholders and will start as soon as the gates open at 3pm. Thanks to Whittaker’s, 5,000 chocolate bars will be given away. There will also be lots of other family-friendly activities to keep everyone entertained before the game kicks off at 4.35pm.
“With an afternoon kick-off time and affordable tickets, we are expecting a strong turnout. This is more than just a rugby match; it’s a celebration of Polynesian culture and we’re delighted to bring our communities together at New Zealand’s national stadium. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
“Whether you’re a Moana Pasifika or a Blues fan, this promises to be an egg-citing event for everyone. Importantly we recommend getting to Eden Park early to make the most of what is anticipated to be an afternoon of Easter-inspired fun and entertainment and an exceptional Super Rugby game between Moana Pasifika and the Blues.
