This artwork is kindly donated by England all-rounder Benjamin Andrew “Ben” Stokes.

During New Zealand’s inaugural day-night test between England and the BLACKCAPS in March 2018, Stokes, known for his belligerence at the batting crease, mounted and uncharacteristic rearguard action.

After four and a half hours batting, the 27 year old brought his side withing arm’s reach of saving a match where they had been all out in the first session of the first innings.

These walls will not be the same again.
