A range of ticket options are available across the four-day event. Opening Night tickets are priced from $75, offering first access to artworks, artist meet-and-greets, drinks and canapés, while General Admission tickets start from just $15, with morning, afternoon, twilight and anytime passes available throughout the weekend.
Positioned as “New Zealand’s best art at its most iconic venue”, Art in the Park celebrates the breadth and diversity of New Zealand’s artistic community, showcasing emerging talent alongside established artists across painting, sculpture, photography, digital art and more. Across four days, Eden Park will be transformed through art, with visitors invited to explore artist exhibits, wander pitch-side viewing sculptures, experience exciting art talks and get hands on creating their own art.
Designed to welcome everyone from first-time buyers to experienced collectors, Art in the Park offers an accessible and inspiring way to experience contemporary art, connect with artists and discover original works.
Leading the 2026 programme is internationally recognised New Zealand artist Jesse Woolston, who will return home for his first-ever exhibition in Aotearoa after building his career in the United States. Born in Lower Hutt and raised between Lower Hutt and Auckland, Woolston has become internationally recognised for creating immersive, large-scale installations inspired by the beauty, power and unpredictability of New Zealand’s natural environment.
For Art in the Park 2026, Woolston will present his immersive artwork, The Infinite Constant Front on the Eden Park pitch itself – a landmark presentation of his work never seen in New Zealand before. Comparable in size to the stadium’s goalposts, The Infinite Constant Front combines moving image, sound, technology and original music composition to create an immersive encounter inspired by the landscapes and natural phenomena that continue to shape his artistic practice.
Drawing inspiration from ocean movements, dramatic weather systems and iconic Aotearoa landscapes, Woolston’s work combines computational simulation, physical materials and colour pigments sourced from the environment to create experiences that feel as though nature itself has been captured within a living sculpture. Woolston’s internationally recognised practice has seen him collaborate with notable global institutions and brands, including Christie’s and Dior.
Jesse Woolston says:
“Bringing my work home to New Zealand and exhibiting alongside other New Zealand artists at the scale of Eden Park is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’m incredibly proud to be part of Art in the Park and to show the art world what New Zealand has to offer.”
Sofija Matich, Director and Curator, Art in the Park says:
“Jesse’s installation brings something we have never attempted before at Art in the Park, curatorially expanding the boundaries of what an art show is – it’s not only a work to be viewed, but an environment to be experienced collectively. The installation is a unifying thread across the show, reflecting the wider narratives explored by the talented artists exhibiting.”
Art in the Park 2026 will showcase more than 140 artists from across Aotearoa, creating an opportunity for visitors to experience a diverse range of creative practices and discover original works from some of the country’s most exciting artists.
Celebrated New Zealand artists including Jimmy James Koratorus, Dita Angeles and Milarky; who will be exhibiting alongside established names like Christian Nicholson, Tim Christie and FLOX; as well as exciting, emerging talents such as Logan Bow, Zoey Singh and Kayla Bacon.
Alongside the main exhibition, visitors can explore the key sponsor of Art In The Park, MAS, Emerging Artists’ Gallery which celebrates the next generation of creative talent.
Art in the Park will continue its commitment to supporting emerging artists through its partnership with The King’s Trust Aotearoa New Zealand, returning as the event’s charity partner for 2026. Together, they deliver the free Art & Enterprise Programme, which equips young creatives with industry insights, mentoring, coaching and networking opportunities to build confidence and entrepreneurial skills. The partnership also marks a milestone year, celebrating The King’s Trust’s 50th global anniversary and five years of collaboration with Art in the Park.
Nick Sautner, CEO of Eden Park, says: “We’re thrilled to welcome Art in the Park back to Eden Park following the incredible response to last year’s event. It’s exciting to see the stadium transformed in a completely different way, creating a space where people can experience art, connect with artists and explore creativity in one of New Zealand’s most iconic venues. Jesse Woolston’s immersive installation on the pitch is a remarkable addition that will make this year’s event even more memorable.”
