Kennards Hire is proud to announce it will continue as Icon Partner of Eden Park, New Zealand’s most premier stadium, for a further two years, extending a highly successful partnership that began in 2016.
Over the past decade, the relationship between Kennards Hire and Eden Park has grown into a true partnership built on shared values of community, innovation and excellence. During this time, Eden Park has evolved into a vibrant community hub and a home not only of national sport, but also of world-class live music and major events. In parallel, Kennards Hire has expanded its New Zealand operations to 32 branches and more than 200 employees nationwide.
The partnership has delivered a number of standout initiatives that have had a lasting impact on the community. Some of these highlights include:
- The Kennards Hire Community Oval, which has become a hub for a wide range of community activities, including the popular Kennards Kids Sports Days (in partnership with Inventus Cares Charitable Trust).
- The introduction of Sound Sensitivity Stations – the first of their kind – which stations free ear plugs permanently around the stadium concourse. These stations allow fans with sound sensitivity to enjoy major sporting events and concerts without feeling overwhelmed. In addition, Kennards Hire supplies noise-reducing ear defenders for Eden Park’s Sensory Room, supporting guests with higher sensory needs, all helping make Eden Park a more inclusive and accessible venue.
- Helping Eden Park turf team deliver world-class grounds for historic sporting events.
