Description

According to Stats NZ, 1 in 4 Kiwis have a disability and their employment rate is only 22% compared those who are non-disabled at 70%. That’s over 250,000 capable Kiwis desperately looking for employment!

The Cookie Project is a social enterprise that employs Kiwis with disabilities to make delicious cookies right here at Eden Park.

BYOC (Bake Your Own Cookies)

You can Bake Your Own Cookies in The Cookie Project’s kitchen at Eden Park!

For just $19 per person or $49 for a family pass, you will be given their signature cookie dough made with Lewis Road Creamery butter, a range of toppings to create your own unique flavour combo, and choose from over 1,000 different shaped cutters to make the cookie of your dreams.

Their skilled bakers will also be there to provide lessons and assistance when you need their expert help.

Free Cookie Saturdays

That’s right! Come over and visit The Cookie Project’s kitchen at Eden Park every Saturday from 11AM – 1PM until the end of summer, for FREE!

You can meet their fantastic bakers, try some freshly baked cookies made with the finest Kiwi ingredients, and even Bake Your Own Cookies to take home!

They will escort visitors from Gate A (access via Walters Road, off Sandringham Road) to our kitchen every 30 minutes – 11AM, 11:30AM, 12PM and 12:30PM.

Due to the popular demand, we will require bookings to manage the crowd size and ensure everyone’s health and safety.

Win My Cookie Challenge

Do you have what it takes to challenge the bakers at The Cookie Project? Win My Cookie Challenge is unlike any other experience.

In this world-first baking experience, you’ll get a guided tour of The Cookie Project’s new home in the iconic Eden Park, learn the basics of making our famous cookies, and then challenge their bakers

If you win, you’ll get a bag of freshly-made cookies from our bakers – but if you lose, you must accept defeat by purchasing at least one Win My Cookie Challenge ticket (at $5) to gift to someone else so they can come and experience the Challenge too!

With this experience, you will gain a better understanding of people with disabilities but in a fun and educational environment.

One-hour session – great for couples, friends, families and corporate team-building.

Baking In The Dark

First of its kind in the world, one-hour guided experience of baking cookies without any sight or vision.

Immerse yourself in The Cookie Project’s bakers’ shoes of being blind or low-vision.

Great for couples, family or corporate team-building

Held in Aotearoa’s national stadium, Eden Park!
