Parking and Traffic Management Plan
When a game is on, the Traffic Management Plans are put in place and enforced by Auckland Transport. If you have any questions regarding game day traffic management, parking or transport, please phone Auckland Transport on 09 355 3553.
There is no parking at Eden Park on a game day for the general public and all vehicles must display a relevant parking permit. We encourage the use of public transport for games at Eden Park.
For game day motorbike parking, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to pedestrian safety, many of the streets surrounding the stadium may be closed or have residents-only parking. Each game operates under a different traffic management plan depending on crowd size and can be found on the specific event page closer to game day.
All vehicles parking on site (for contractors, members etc) must display the relevant parking permit for the relevant match. The parking permit must be displayed clearly on the dashboard of the vehicle. Entry to onsite parking for all matches is via Walters Road (off Dominion Road). Please note that the onsite parking areas may be closed prior to the end of the fixture for a period of up to one hour to allow the pedestrian traffic to clear.
Some areas around the stadium, including areas within the parking zone, are reserved for public transport and other traffic management uses. Residents’ who are Parking Permit Holders are not able to park in these areas. These areas are marked on the residents’ newsletter map which is delivered a few days before each game and will be clearly signposted on the event day.
Patrons requiring wheelchair access have FREE entry to the stadium and disabled seating facilities for selected matches including Super Rugby and Mitre 10 Cup Rugby.
One caregiver accompanying the wheelchair patron is also free (for Super Rugby and Mitre 10 Cup) and tickets can be obtained through Auckland Rugby Union on (09) 815 4823.
Disabled seating is located in both the North and South Stands with fantastic views, easy access to retail and bathroom facilities and a convenient seat for your friend or carer.
Mobility parking is not able to be booked and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The mobility parking is located in Cricket Avenue for those with a mobility parking permit.
