Oliver Cain Fruit Bowl
Reflecting elements of personal experience yet refusing to give details, holding onto the anonymity of each encounter. This playful work lives in the Level 3 foyer inside Entry G and brings to light many experiences that are encountered by homosexual males, openly questioning social construction of shame, anonymity and sexuality, but in a way that can be viewed as whimsical and light-hearted.
Oliver Cain is an English-born/New Zealand artist. His work covers a broad range on topics as it changes and develops as well as a wide range of materials.
